Post Hole Digging and Setting
For the do-it-your-selfers out there, sit back and relax. Power Improvements provides a service consisting of machine augered fence and deck post holes and the setting of posts in concrete for homeowners and contractors.
We have a Toro TX-420 Track Machine compact landscape tractor with 34.5" wide access that goes through gates and doorways and is turf friendly. Holes can be dug 9" or 12" in diameter and up to 4 feet deep.
Our staff has developed a method of post setting that virtually eliminates frost heave. We set the concrete deep to ensure strength and regidity for your fence and deck posts. Your Power Improvements professional has the equipment and expertise for all types of post setting.
For post hole digging, there is a minimum charge of $150.00 for 1 to 8 holes. After 8 holes, each additional hole is $10.00. Post setting pricing depends on the size of the post and the number of posts.
The "Ontario One Call Limited" or "ON1Call" is a private corporation formed in 1996 to establish a call centre to receive excavator locate requests within the Province of Ontario and to notify the members such as Bell, Union Gas, Hydro and Cable with underground facilities in the vicinity of the dig site. This is a free service. We will not dig without these clearances
This corporations mission is to reduce damages to underground facilities and promote safe excavation practices through the operation of a state of the art One Call Centre for all facility owners in Ontario.
